Two eight-seat vehicles and one sixteen-seat minibus are different arrangements
Our online group booking options use vehicles with up to eight passenger seats. For sixteen travellers, the seating arrangement can be two eight-seat vehicles, subject to the luggage and suitability checks shown by the quote. This is not a booking for one sixteen-seat minibus.
If your group needs a single vehicle, contact the team before booking. Ask for a sixteen-seat minibus and explain the route, travel date and luggage. The team must confirm whether that option is available and appropriate; it is not guaranteed by selecting sixteen passengers online.
Full passenger capacity makes luggage planning essential
When all sixteen passenger places are needed, luggage deserves particular attention. Do not assume that two eight-seat vehicles can also hold any number of large cases. Add suitcases, cabin bags, sports kit and other bulky items to your request so the arrangement can be checked.
Plan the passenger split before collection and keep someone with the booking details in each vehicle group. Include every child in the total and discuss child-seat or accessibility needs with the team. Vehicle pictures show categories, so rely on the confirmed passenger and luggage arrangement rather than the image.
A useful plan for team and business travel
For a work group, training day or team event, provide the exact venue and any entrance or access instructions. Choose a lead organiser who can confirm the passenger list and communicate changes. If colleagues need different pickup points, agree the full route before finalising the booking.
For an airport departure, set a collection time that leaves room for gathering the group, loading and the road journey. For arrivals, enter the flight details when requested. Travellers arriving on different flights may need a different collection plan; discuss that in advance.
If the transfer connects with a train, consider the time needed to leave the platform and reach the agreed collection point. Follow the booking instructions for Piccadilly or Victoria.
Agree the return as carefully as the outward trip
A conference ending, a celebration finishing or an evening event clearing can make it harder to gather sixteen people. Give both vehicle groups the return time and meeting instructions. If plans change, contact the booking team rather than assuming the driver has amended the booking.
The quote checks applicable fixed-route fares and reflects the selected vehicles and extras. Review the vehicle count, journey details, total and payment arrangement before confirming. A general group enquiry alone does not reserve a vehicle.
